A power outage has hit parts of Chelmsford high street this morning with many businesses affected by the fault. The outage has hit shops, restaurants and banks, but has not caused a complete power cut. Café Nero and Pret A Manger are still open and able to serve customers, with the problem affecting some NatWest services.
