There are long delays throughout Broomfield this morning after an earlier accident.
Main Road was closed because of an incident in Eric Avenue.
The Chronicle has received reports of a person hit earlier.
Traffic is backed up throughout the area with long delays tailing back to Chelmer Valley Road and Essex Regiment Way according to Twitter users.

Essex MPs have decided along with their counterparts around the country to introduce a bill on whether or not England should have it's own national anthem.
Currently English sports teams and events use the national anthem for the entirety of the United Kingdom, God Save The Queen.
Wales and Scotland both have their own anthems to use on occasions which are for their nation alone, with Wales having Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (Land of Our Fathers) and Scotland using Flower of Scotland.
